Vedas are abode of knowledge. knowledge is to be shared. still, why is it said in Vedas itself that ‘STHREE AND SHUDRA” should not recite it?

Shudrathwam is just an attitude of the mind. Any person whose mind is in inertia should not study the Vedas. ( this is not a caste discrimination). At the times the Vedas were recited and committed to memory since they were not written down. Obviously, it took years of learning and reciting to know it. Since women were the primary care takers of the household they would not be able to generally set aside the time or be committed to learning hence. However, it is worth remembering that we did have women scholars in Vedas. It does not apply to the electronic ages that we live in.
