Dear Renukaji,
It is never said that the Mantra which is recited by a suspicious mind will ever protect the non-committed devotee.
It is so obvious that even the place where you work with non-commitment will never protect.
So, understand, as long as you don’t have a surrendering mind, (means a dedicated and devotional mind) nothing will protect you.
