We have heard that it is the vibrations of the mantra chanted esp during the death ceremonies that reach the departed souls. However we find that nowadays there are not adequate priests who have the knowledge to create such vibrations with proper chanting. In which case do we have to still continue the rituals for the sake of continuing an age old practice ? Pls advice

Dear Radhaji,
It is true that we can create such vibrations and environment so that every one will feel some divine feeling that the departed mind will go divinely.
It is never said we have to engage a priest and some one who can create vibrations. That is the responsibility of all family members.
