Every religion has three basic constituents.
Thathwam(philosophy), Vicharam(meditation) and Acharam(practicing or applying the philosophy in life).
Philosophy is the same for all religions – love, peace and joy.
Our religion is based more on Vicharam, but semantic religions focus more on Acharam.
When you practise some thing just for the sake, without understanding the philosophy and purpose behind it, you will end up in confusion and misery.
But as you meditate on the Thathwam and apply it in your life, you can experience the divinity within.
