‘Ekadasi’ means the Eleventh. The ten Karma, Jnana Indriyas and the eleventh is the mind.
Observing Ekadesi means purifying your mind and surrendering to the Lord.
It is not a mere restriction on what you fast and eat.
Sri Dakshnamoorthi is the Guru stamping on an Asura representing ignorance.
