What is the meaning of vyragyam (pradamaskandam)?
Posted by Keerthana.G on March 31, 2017
Vyragya (vi+raga meaning without likes/dislikes) is a mental state of dispassion or non-attachment. To obtain dispassion, we should be able to get rid of “bhedabuddhi” or be able to see connectivity with everything. Also, we need to get get rid of Doership or “Kartritwa abhimanam”. This will release you from ego and allow you to see everything as Divine. When you are able to perform your karma without doership and with universality in attitude (in other words being unselfish), you will be able to “eradicate vasanas”, which is Vyragya in the true sense. Hari Om.
