When human mind never evolves into the higher state of consciousness it can’t tolerate the pain of the body.
Understand pain is not the reality, the reality is, even in the midst of pain one can engage the mind in positive thoughts and ignore pain and sufferings ( like Bheeshmacharya and Kunthy etc). Mercy killing is one way of escaping from the possibilities of developing such strong mind, second one can’t escape from the fruits of one’s action.
That will be passed on to next life. Better close your balance sheet here itself. Life will never end, it continues from life time to life time.
