WHEN A MAN DIES, ATMA RETURNS TO FROM WHERE IT CAME. BODY JOINS PANCH BHUTHA. WHEN A MAN IS SHOT IN LEG ATMA DOES NOT LEAVE BODY. WHEN HE IS SHOT IN CHEST HE DIES IE ATMA LEAVES BODY. DOES IT MEAN ATHMA IS IN CHEST OR HEART. I AM LOOKING FOR ANSWER FOR ALONG TIME.

You have understood the concept of Athma wrongly. Athma is not in the leg or heart. It is in every cell of your being. When you are shot in the leg, life force is cut off from the leg, but when your heart or brain is affected, life force is cut off from the brain, which is the center of your mukhya prana. Prana is the carrier of Athma. So when Prana is cut off, Athma ceases to manifest, so the person is brain dead/ DEAD. But Athma is an all pervading Universal conscious force (Bodham), present in living and non-living objects at the fundamental level that makes the atomic/ Subatomic particles function with intelligence. The expression of athma in living objects is connected to Life force or prana. That’s all. Hari Om.
