When i go to temple i see many people doing “shayana pradakshinam” , so a doubt haunting me – “If god doesn’t help these people, how would he serve people like me, who goes to temple once in a while?”

Dear Shekhar,
God is not someone who keeps an account of the rituals we do and offer his services accordingly.
Please understand, our mind is the cause of all our troubles. Rituals are performed for helping us to tune our mind to the Eternal Energy within us, whom we call God; NOT to seek help from HIM.
So, instead of being skeptical, develop a strong conviction that God is with you always and gain true knowledge about HIM by attending Satsangs and reading scriptures.
You will be gradually cleared of all your doubts.
