When one goes through a difficult phase, one gets overcome by anger and helplessness. How can one deal with this frame of mind?
Posted by Padma on October 14, 2017
When a situation happens, whether you mange it, or whether the situation manages you, is the question. When the situation manages your thoughts, you have no confidence in your ability to solve. That is expressed as anger and helplessness. On the other hand, if your thoughts are directed by your logic, you always trust your ability to find a way out. Here, is where your trust in Bhagavan and HIS ability to solve the problem also comes in. Get into the habit of chanting a mantra all the time when the mind is idle. In the beginning you can chant loudly, later it becomes a part of you. All anger and helplessness will eventually be diverted off in the mantra. Never brood over a problem, the more you think of it, the more power it gets. Divert your mind to something better, like visiting a temple or doing a seva. Understanding problems are part of life and realizing it will pass is the key. Hari Om.
