When our parents die we do tharpanam for years to come.Does it mean that even after leaving this material world, the soul still lingers with earthly expectations form their offsprings? Do they not care for their further evolution in the spiritual world? I have also been told of domestic problems arising out of not appeasing our dead. What rational explainaation can be offered?
