Which is more important : your duties towards your family members i.e. parents, spouse, children (Karma yoga) or seeking knowledge for yourself(bhakti yoga)? There is always a conflict when it comes to choosing out of the above. Can we ignore our duties for attending spritual knowledge. Can it be termed as running away from the situation?

The conflict in your mind indicates the lack of clarity in your mind.
Do you think you will be happy if you are escaping form your duties at home?
Lord Krishna himself was living like a Grihastha, yet enjoying the peacefulness of a Sannyasi!
It is your attitude and acceptance that determines your spiritual progress.
So, be where you are and serve the Lord as a Dasa accepting every thing as HIS Prasad!
