The spiritual reality is the same, but there are many means to attain it. Our masters describe it as a pond with steps on all 4 sides. No matter which set of steps you take, the idea is to reach the pond.  Please note, I am talking about spirituality and not religion. Religions have been formed in several parts of the world, conforming to the socio-cultural backgrounds of the place it was born in. That is why we don’t speak of Sanathanadharma as a religion. It was not founded by a man or a few men. It is a spiritual tradition that evolved in our land over several thousand years, describing various approaches, various Gods, various life styles, various rituals……all focussed on realizing the infinite Divinity within yourself and urging you to perfect it. In the process you become God. As Swami Vivekananda put it, Hinduism is the tradition of turning man to Divine (Nara to Narayana). Hari Om.
