Why kali is considered as goddess? How can a person pray in front of such a terrific roopa? Is their any concept behind this Roopa? If so please explain and remove my ignorance.

Dear Biju,
We are so unfortunate, because we know only story part of our scriptures.
Please understand every story that includes an “avathar” contains a philosophical, scientific meaning.
Here, Kali means “kalaham” which means negative thoughts that will be the reason for destruction of relationship and humanity. So Kali takes avatar not out side but in our mind in the form of negative, hatred and angry thoughts.
