VISHU is the celebration of respect to the Self, God and Nature. We see Vishukani at the feet of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. The Kani includes everything that we consider auspicious and necessary for a successful life. It also includes a mirror where we see ourselves. When we respect the self, we try to make ourselves better everyday. When we respect God, we see HIS presence in others and will never degrade another person. When we respect nature, we will do everything in our power to protect Mother Earth and the Nature that sustains us. May the “Kani Darsanam” anchor this concept in us……so we make this world divine.
