In Slokas 28 and 29 of the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna is overwhelmed by emotions and becomes unable to control his senses. He foresees immense loss and cruelty in the name of war. When the mind is intoxicated by powerful impulses, it loses the ability to distinguish between right and wrong, justice and injustice.
