HAPPY NAVARATHRI SEASON TO ALL OUR DEVOTEES……
The word Nava- Rathri represents a celebration over 9 nights. We think of it as celebrating the various forms of Devi. But it is actually connected to three brain functions ichha, kriya and jnanam. Our actions are controlled by emotions, and often directed by selfishness. NAVARATHRI is a time to transform our activity to selflessness controlled by intellect and logic. This is attained only by looking at everything we do as DIVINE through a process of self expansion to overcome petty emotions and ego. The emotional (left) side of the brain is connected to the intellectual (right) side of the brain by the Saraswati Nadi located in the middle. Worshipping Saraswati means to activate this central brain through Upasana- KRIYA YOGA.
