A day to grow beyond limitations to your ultimate potentialities……..
Hearty congratulations to every Indian and our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, as the world celebrates the ancient wisdom of India on this third International Yoga day. Yoga was mistaken or reduced to physical exercise due to a lack of proper understanding. The word Yoga derives from the Sanskrit root “Yug” meaning Union. Yoga essentially unites the body, life force, mind, intellect and the self(athma) to transform you to a complete being. Even Modern medical science is very limited in its understanding of all dimensions of life. It has remained at a physical or physiological level. Yogasutra categorically explains the 5 layers of existence. Body moves in a rhythm directed by the life force(Prana), mind thinks, intellect designs and discriminates. However, if we can align these layers through yoga, the body becomes young and healthy, the mind becomes stable and focused, intellect becomes clear and the self becomes blissful. Attitudes become positive, words become powerful, personality becomes divine. We grow from the constraints of our personal cocoons to embrace Universality, where all barriers disappear and we pray “Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu”. Let each one of us take it on as our duty to spread this wisdom as a service to the Self and our Mother Nation. Wishing all devotees a blissful Yoga Day.
