Dear Swamiji, Initially, is the right way of worship to be done with an idol or image of Krishna and doing namasankeerthanam and later as we progress to move into the formless state? I found it to be very difficult to follow the formless state as the mind wanders endlessly when the eyes are closed for long. Kindly advise me on the suitable path.

Yes, you are right.
Till the mind attains a certain amount of concentration you can’t move into the formless Truth, because the mind won’t feel any thing there.
So continue your present practice, you will attain God in this life itself.
Understand, practice alone can change our life.
