Dear Swamiji, As per Garuda Purana, 10 pranas are existing in our body ie; prana, apana, vyana, udana, samana, naga, koorma, krikala, devadatta and danajaya. All nine pranas except danajaya will go for rebirth. Danajaya prana will reside in pithru loka blessing that family by providing wealth and future generation. My queries are : 1. As per your teachings, sub-concious mind is taking rebirth. So nine pranas except danajaya prana is called sub-concious mind. 2. Every year we are doing “shradam”for our parents. Is it for this dananjaya prana. Pls advs. Tks & Regds, S. Vasu Elayath.

How can the non conscious prana become the subconscious mind?
Read the Bhagavad Gita 15th chapter 8th sloka, where Krishna compares this prana and mind with the vayu ( wind) and gandham ( the smell).
It is so subtle to understand. Once it is clear your doubts won’t disturb you.
