Pranam Swamiji, My sister got a marriage proposal from a boy working as software engineer in Wipro, US. The horoscopes are matching. But the astrologer said that this boy has an elder brother who suicided years before and his final rituals not done properly and he is still in “prethavastha” . The soul departed from the body very painfully and inorder to bring the soul to “Pithru loka” (bhuvar loka), Narayana bali has to be done and “shetra pinnam” to be placed at Rameswaram. When we discussed this with the boy’s family, they agreed that their elder son suicided 9 years before due to a love failure, but they are not willing to do any more ceremonies for him now. A departed soul can’t touch the life of living ones. Since some of the astrologers are expert in creating fear in the minds of others for their survival there is no logic in this matter. Understand, even your horoscope can give her a good life.
It is after all their mutual interest, passion, priorities and emotional support that make them feel they are “one”.
if the attitudes are different can your horoscope change this? Therefore give more importance to the culture and nature of both, that alone decides how will be their future life.
