Pranam, Swamiji. In one of your discourses, you said that those who eat non-vegetarian food, would have to go Naraga and there they would be fried in oil similarly in the way chicken was fried in the hotel ! But, Swamiji, what about NV eaters in Islam, Christianity & other religions? Even Lord Budha preached non-killing of animals but in countries where Budhisam is followed, no creatures (in animals) are left for food purposes. In Bengal, almost all the Hindus including brahmins take NV food. NV food is commonly used in marriages and some Hindu festivals in Bengal & Assam. Can you please give clarification for this.

Dear Sridharan,
It is not the killing that takes you to the hell; it is the attitude that decides the destiny. When your attitude is selfish, that selfishness will be punished in different ways. That is called hell. That is why Bhagavan Krishna (in Gita) told Arjun that “WHen you kill Kauravas, never kill them with an attitude of hatred and selfishness. Consider it as an opportunity given by the Lord to bring the country into the hands of Dharma”. So what you eat is not important; how you behave and how you react is important.
