Pranamam Swamiji , I am 24 years old girl .I would like to ask one of my doubt . Upanishads and other vedic scriptures telling that this universe and the matters are absolutely ‘Maya’ . So we cannot do anything to control the things that happening in our life and this world . At the same time we have to do our duties ,’karma’ . In fact there is no time and direction , but as a human or a creature we are accepting all those illusionary things like time .I feel like all the materialistic things are worthless ,including money ,relations , fame etc . But the people around me compelling to run after those things ,even if I am not interested . But I didn’t meant that I don’t like to do my duties . I would like to do all my duties without any expectations . But they are not satisfied in that ,because they are putting high level of expectations on me .So I have to be a part this rat race without my wish . My mind is getting confused . From my childhood itself I am thinking about the meaning of life and death .. still I am searching to find out that , I have made several attempts to find out the facts through my passions like reading ,writing , music , etc . And I am not satisfied with any of those things , because I couldn’t find the real satisfaction and completeness in anything . I was a devotee of lord krishna , after reading the upanishads and gita , I found lord krishna as my teacher . But now I cannot find a direction ,how to move on this world because its very competitive .I am waiting for your reply ,please guide me . Namaste .
