Dear Swamiji I have a doubt regarding creation in vedantic theory which mentioned in the begining there was only Chaitanyam and that Chaitanyam desires to create. How the Chaitanaym or Brahman has got a desire. I have gone through different vedantic books but I haven’t got a an answer.

Dear Aravindan,
It is not the Chaithanyam, but the Shakthi (potential energy) in the Chaithanyam that attracts.
Thus the manifestation of different forms starts.
When you look at a molecule, the electrons vibrate and get attracted to the electrons of other molecules.
(Hydrogen and Oxygen molecules’ energies combine and turn into a drop of water).
So our great masters insist that instead of getting lost in creation, train your mind to get attracted to the Chaithanyam, disslove and experience yourself.
