Dear Radhakrishnan,
Every one is aware of his/her duties.
There are two kinds pf KARMA.
1. related to body
2. related to mind
Before the body falls into Earth, we have responsibility towards our parents, family, society, nature etc.
When a person does his duties with sincerity and dedication with an understanding that they are given by the Lord (Chaithanyam in him) and accepts whatever comes to him, then he can direct his mind towards God.
Thus his mental duty is fulfilled and he will become a peaceful person.
