Swamiji I feel that you give least importance to Jyothisastram (jyolsyam). Isn’t it equally important ancient branch of knowledge along with the vedas. Is n’t there scientific basis for jyolsyam?

Astrology is mathematical and a science too. The downside is that people are misunderstanding it as a short cut solution to life’s problems. Naturally it then becomes a medium of exploitation too, because people seek the help when they are otherwise helpless and frustrated.
The prediction side of Astrology depends on the Upasana of the astrologer, that is why it becomes a grey area.
