Dear Swamiji, 1. My friend’s aunty was from Nair family and he is a brahmin. At my friends marriage function, he has to get blessings from all elders. Naturally aunty was also called to bless but the priest told her not touch on his head and bless without touching his head as she is from Nair family. This hurt her very much as this was in front of other family members. Before that he was shaking hands with his Christian/Muslim friends and there is no problem on that. Swamiji, what will happen if a Nair lady bless him touching his head ? 2. At a brahmin function, all brahmins were sitting on avana palaka (seat made of wood) and my Nair friend tried to sit on an available avana palaka and a brahmin asked him to get up and told him soodras shud not sit on avana palaka. Swamiji, what will happen if a soodra sit on an avana palaka. Pls comment on above 2 issues.
