Dear Swamiji, 1. i heard a lecture from a swamiji recently and he is telling that some deciples are staying in the ashram for last 10 to 15 years due to the attachment with the Guru eventhough they got mantra deeksha and teachings from Guru. This attachment with the Guru will be an obstacle to forward in their spritual path way. Is this correct. 2. Remana Maharshi, Jiddhu Krishna Moorthy and Matha Amrithanantha Mayi devi had no Gurus. Then how did they achieved the enlightment. Pls reply.

1. Attachment becomes helpful or harmful according to the way you use it.
2. Ramana Maharshi had the mount Arunachala as Guru. How do we know, who or what is Guru to others?
It says, ‘Guru Bina Gathi Nahi’, which means there is no progress without the Guru.
