Swamiji, Iam aware of the real fact of life, yet behave like a big fool. I can’t concentrate in anything. Also I get angry very easily. I don’t want to hurt anyone. Bt one day when one of my friends from other religion badly and harshly talk about Hindu culture, sadanas and Vedas. First I told her why we have to talk about religion in friendship. But she told that she is a communist so she can’t agree with many of our culture including sabarimala theerthadanam. We are getting exploited by others due to our foolishness. Also she told that if science is there in Vedas then all others studying science are fool? I told her that her underatanding about Vedas is not right. But then she talk very harshly. Atlast I lost my control. Actually after that I called her and said sorry but later I understood that she is telling negative about me to everyone as I am the one who is mad with Hinduism. I became sad but later get really angry for her and don’t like anyone who speak in such a way about our culture. I was not like this before. I know that its not religion that matters but our mind. Still I can’t control myself and concentrate. Please help me Guruji..

It is our own weakness that causes anger. Here, you need more clarity about Hinduism, to answer such questions.
The best thing you can do to help your friend and yourself is to understand more about our religion. You are a proud Hindu and everyone needs that pride about our own. However, that should really be based on understanding. You tried to say sorry to your friend for being angry but you do not have to feel sorry for being proud about your culture and identity. Don’t worry about what she says, you know who you are. Learn more on our scriptures so you can answer her questions better. Hari Om
