I am hard to crack while I interact with group of people, and even take spot decisions, which might hurt others. However, very easily I alco become emotional, when someone advise me its adverse effect. I am being a hard core HR professional, heading a large sized company may be right my approach to my conscious, and for the type of function and responsibility. My CMD appreciates my decision. My wife, who happens to attend just few days of your BHAGAVATAMRUTHAM, she becomes much more benign, advises me to revise my decision. May be i am right, or my wife is right, please guide and advise. regards

Dear Divakaran,
You should not allow your career related decisions and personal decisions overlap with each other.
Just imagine the situation of a police officer who has to gun down a criminal; or a soldier who has to kill another soldier just because they both fight for the cause of their own countries; or a judge who sentences a criminal o death!
They do not have any enmity or hatred in their mind, right? Still they have to do their duty!
This is what Krishna advised Arjuna in the war field, in the form of Bhagavath Geetha!
Only that, for today’s corporate employees and CEOs and MDs, the war field is their work environment.
When you do business, you can not do charity and if you do so, your business will collapse.
But see that your decisions are not taken to satisfy your own ego or out of revenge, but for the betterment of the organization!
(According to Mahabharatham, To save a family, you can sacrifice a member; to save a village you can sacrifice a family; to save the country you can sacrifice a village and to save your SELF, you can sacrifice the whole world!).
When you are convinced about the nobility of purpose of your action, nothing should bother you!
When your motives are selfish, even if the external world appreciates you, your inner voice will blame you; you can never escape from that.
Bhagavatham helps you to do your worldly duties sincerely while your ego and mind are surrendered to the Lord!
This will give immense happiness when you look back, even after your retirement!
