Respected Swamiji, I am continuously trying to meditate for the last several months continuously. But I am not getting concentration. Even when I am chanting sthothrams/namam of Lord Krishna I am unable to concentrate. Occasionally my attention/concentration will get diverted. I understand that if we practice continuously we will get concentration and meditate. Kindly guide me in the matter. I was chanting Vishnu sahasranamam but I am unable to remember the meanings of each namams. It is heard that without knowing the meaning of the prayer there is no use with it. Can I chant Harinama keerthanam instead since there is some malayalam words also there I can remember/understand some more extent.

Meditation is not concentration, but dissolving in your inner silence.
Never bother about the meaning of Bhagavad Namam, but call His names with sweet love (Prem).
Your mind will unite with Him.
HariOm!
