The word Avatar means to descend. We use the term to denote the Supreme power who descends to the level of man to show him how to live his life. They should be considered the ultimate gurus in that sense. Mohini symbolizes the consciousness or male (Vishnu) who exists inside the prakriti or female energy. Hari Om.
