You don’t have to “suffer” to reach God. Spiritual journey is an inward journey to identify and dissolve into the divinity in you. Like you clearly said, we are so bound to the material world and see it through our limited perception as directed outward by our senses. Our identity is also entangled in our material possessions. To understand this and truly detach from it in the real sense is not an easy task, but that is the purpose of every human life. It is progressively achieved by using your discrimination to move to the good and positive. Hari Om
