Swami Vivekananda when he was a student, went to Sree Ramakrishna Paramahansa out of his intense desire to know what “trance” or samadhi means. All spiritual journeys begin from an intense desire to know the unknown. If you are experiencing such a longing, you can start that journey. It is not a path to “follow”, it is a journey to know.
