Dear Swamiji, This is to clear a doubt to your reply in this session- a soul takes a new body in order to complete the karmic burden. If it is not completed in this life, it will carry over to next life as sanchita karma plus the burden of present life. So how the past impressions will be wiped off when it acquire a new body. This cycle will be continued till the karmic burden is over or past life impressions are wiped off after that no need to take a new body and the soul will be merged with the supreme. Is this correct. Pls advs.

Sanchitakarma is the reserve of our karmic burden as you say. However, each life is triggered by a certain amount of “prarabthakarma”, which we either live off in that birth or add to the reserve of karmic burden by our actions. When you acquire a birth, some memories directed by the prarabthakarma of prior life may be present but it is wiped off early in a new life. You will still need to empty the burden of your Sanchitakarma to attain Moksha. Hari Om.
