Hari Om Guruji, In Hindu mythology the first human being is Manu. I would like to know who is the first woman in Hindu Mthology. How is the evolution of human beings in Hinduism .

The first individual expression of mind from the unmanifest consciousness is represented by Brahma. The first man who originated on his own from Brahma (please note it is not created but originated) is called Manu and his female counterpart is Shatarupa. Brahma tells them to establish their progeny in the world. Manu is not the name of one man but the title given to the first man of each Manvanthara. One day of Brahma (Kalpa) includes 14 Manvantharas and has 14 Manus. Swayambhu was the first Manu of the first Manvathara. We are currently in the seventh Manvanthara and the name of our Manu is Shraddhadev or Vaivaswat. Bhagavatham gives all names and details. Hari Om.
