Dear swamiji Please help me to understand the one line of these epics. Ramayanam- story of sreerama avatharam. Mahabharatham – story of karuva & pandava. Bagavad geetha – its a part of mahabharatham where bagavan Krishna advice Arjuna . Bagavatham- It is the story of 10 avatharam Narayaneeyam – short and poetic version of bagavatham. please correct me if i am wrong .Thank you so much.

You are absolutely right. Please remember all Puranas are means to teach the common man the essence of the Vedas through simple stories that they easily understand. Beyond the stories the focus should be on the tatwam. Hari Om.
