Dear Swamiji, I have one doubt. in Bagawat geetha Sree Krishna Says ” In Devas,I am Indra”. At the Same time there is a fight between Sree Krishna and Indra during Govardana Pooja. How can this happen? Thanks and Regards Rajan

In Gita Krishna says, he is in everything that is auspicious. So he defines himself as “king of devas” or Indra. Understand, Indra is not a person, but a title. There have been several Indras over time.
The philosophy part is more interesting. Indra represents the mind, which is the best among senses, or the Master of senses which actually facilitates seeing, hearing etc. So, among senses (also called Devas) Krishna compares Himself to Indra. The Lord’s vibhootis are the best in creation.
The story about Govardhana pooja is to help us understand the importance of worshipping and protecting nature that gives us rain and crop, over useless ritualism. Hari Om.
