Krishna who lived and ruled in this world as an avatar in human form should be looked upon as a guru who lived to show us the purpose of live. However, if you see Krishna or Vishnu as a God depicted with 4 arms , no such form existed. God is conscious intelligence and through these forms, you reach the formless. Hari Om.
