Pranaam Guruji, Am 33 yr old from Delhi, and am spiritual to the extent that I feel and know that Lord Krishna is all around me and loves me and gives me all unasked. Being a very spiritual person from my childhood, I always thought of giving my life to my Lord, but his decision was something else which time taught me. I got married 8 months back to a very nice human being. But, as always God doesnt give everything to all. I always asked God only for one thing, and that was if his wish was to see me married then I should be married to a man who beleives in him.Unfortunately my husband does not beleive in God much. He does not value the traditions and cultures and the way of living our hinduism follow like, lighting up the lamp or going to temple or even putting chandan or bhasma on forehead critising all which has depressed me. I never wanted to be among people who doesnt realise that education, degree, money and position does nt make a person wise but its the path towards spiritual

Dear Smitha,
Remember the story of Prahlada, one of the greatest devotees of all times!
Did he get a supporting family or environment to serve the Lord?
He had to face so many life-threatening situations due to his Bhakthi!
In spite of all these adversities, he never let go of his hold on the Lord!
Similarly, treat your present situation as a test of the Lord – to test the depth of your Bhakthi!
My advice is, never get into arguments with your husband regarding your devotion!
As you advance through years, he will realize that your devotion has never done any harm to your family, but gave a firm support to him
in good and bad situations. Sooner or later he too will appreciate that, and become a devotee himself!
We will also pray for you!
