Why do we keep slipping on spiritual path? Why is it so difficult to keep up the tempo of surrender? How do we kill our EGO (for ever)?
Posted by AMRITKUMARI SIVAPRAKSAM on November 3, 2009
Dear Amritkumari,
When we store special, delicious sweets, we spread some sugar around, to save it from ants.
The ants get contented with the sugar and never go beyond that to reach the precious sweets!
SImilarly, our mind gets attracted to trivial pleasures in this world and seldom seek for the Supreme Truth or Bliss!
The cravings and aversions in the mind are so strong that they do not allow mind to be single focussed.
It takes that much courage and commitment to stick to the spiritual path.
This is explained very well in Geetha.
Only the most fortunate ones get into Bliss or Enlightenment.
You can remove ego by carefully observing the nature of thoughts in your mind.
Surrender good and bad thoughts at HIS feet.
When you become an open channel for HIM to express through you, there is no place for ego!
No Schedules for this section.
