Most Respected Swamiji As per our texts suicide is not permitted any where and the suicided one will get the balance of life to be fulfilled again also in the same manner, then what is the meaning of after death rituals in their case? But in the case of any accident or murder one who suffer his innocent life without his knowledge , did they are barred by the same law ? or did they are treated as normally dead? or did they get any privilege in their next birth as they have gone with so many un fulfilled objectives to fulfill the same ? Kindly explain Kodi Pranamangalode shajkumar

There is no previlege or punishment for dying a certain way. Suicide is prohibited in our scriptures because the weakness of your mind that forces you to destroy your life, is a bad karma. Rebirth is decided by the net karmic burden you carry, within your mind. All after death rituals are done as a prayer for the departed soul to acquire a suitable body to complete its karmic journey in the most efficient way. No matter how you die, you have to take births until you completely exhaust the karmic burden. Hari Om.
