Though we poetically talk about it, what is really the umbilical cord? It is just a channel that brings oxygen and food from the mother to the baby at a time that it cannot breath or eat on its own. By 3-6 months in the womb the baby’s mind and thoughts are active. The mother does not provide those thoughts. Where does that come from? It is said your baby “does not come from you, but comes through you”. Hari Om.
