Swamiji, My wife has got a job in MNC and she is working there only three months. She wants to resign from there and wants to looking after our kid. Also she is seeking for govt jobs and attending evening coaching centre. We are in under pressure for taking a good decision. Whether she has to continue with this pvt job or looking after kid or trying govt job. Please give your valuable suggestions.

How old is your kid? Who else is there to help you? We all should “work to live”, but often these days we “live to work”. If your child is of an age that he needs his mother, then that is the first priority. If he is at an age that he can go to a play school, your wife can look for a part- time position. Do you have a family member to help out? How important is your wife’s income for your family? All these things should be considered in making a right choice. There is no problem with your wife working in any position, as long as the child is taken care of, appropriately. Weigh all your options and make a decision or write back to me. Hari Om.
