Papam is an inability to transcend from the level of your mind or emotions to the level of your budhi or intellect. In other words, convert your emotional quotient to an intellectual quotient, thereby overcoming your own inadequacies. If you do not do that, you are doing papam, and hence you are bound to suffer.
