Man by nature of his intelligence tries to manipulate his environment. However, situations don’t happen as you want. This could be a cause of suffering or considered a defeat. Hence, our scriptures teach that you have right over action, not on the result. You are advised to take all results with “Prasaadabudhi” or as God’s will. This removes the onus of the results, whether good or bad, from you. It will allow you to perform with ease and efficiency.
Comparison happens because you fail to identify your uniqueness. Every birth on this earth has a specific purpose. You are also bestowed capabilities to fulfill that purpose. Your power lies in identifying your purpose and using your capabilities for that. It has got nothing to do with anyone else’s purpose or capabilities. If you copy another person’s life you will be answering a question paper not meant for you. Hari Om.
