Dear Vishnu,
Whatever you do, do it with full of interest and involvement. Some people start some thing; then they feel bored. Simlarly there are some other people who remain in the same place and do things mechanically.
Both are destructing their own life. Freedom is clarity of action and fun in doing.
Not to do means do not jump into some other thing before you finish the previous action merely because you feel bored; so make it interesting!
The snake represents the cosmic energy and Narayanan represents conscious energy.
