Respected swamiji, can a married man become a sanyasi by abandoning his wife and physically torturing and beating her .The girl is so much tired frustrated and she came back to her parents above all she is having two small children and swamiji please advice us what to be done to this girl as she is so much afraid of her husband?

I have answered this question before. Sanyas is not an easy route to escape from your responsibilities. A married man needs the whole-hearted permission of his wife to go into Sanyas. Now, for this girl who is in an abusive relationship, tell her to stand up on her feet and find a job to sustain herself and her children. It is ok to be away from a husband who is physically abusive. In the meantime, let some mutually acceptable mediator talk to him to find out why he behaves that way and try to find an amicable solution. Hari Om.
