When performing a task or living life it is important to be “here and now”. That is meditation in one sense. Restlessness is a primitive way of our mind. As we progress, we learn to be tranquil and quiet. That is why our rishis can sit in silence for hours. It does not happen without effort and practice. You have to consciously slow down in your thoughts and actions in the beginning. Avoid hasty decisions and quick talk. Slowly, that will become your way. Practice chanting a mantra in slow pace, whenever you are restless. Also, do pranayama for 15-20 minutes every morning. Hari Om.
