The traditional original Ramayana is Valmiki Ramayanam. Adhythama Ramayanam written by Veda Vyasa is otherwise called Vyasa Ramayanam and Kilipaattu is its Malayalam translation. The fundamental difference in narration is that Valmiki Ramayana depicts Rama as an ideal man while admitting his divinity. Whereas Sage Vyasa present him as the Supreme being incarnate with the full remembrance of his divinity and the recognition of it by all wise men. Hari Om.
